SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST-DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY

Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Manages, oversees, and directs the implementation and compliance of Department of Defense Information Protection policies, procedures and programs required for the safeguarding of national security and controlled unclassified information. Provides senior level Industrial Security oversight for DoD contractor operations. Serves as the installation senior civilian on the application of Information Protection security requirements. Conducts senior management oversight of the installation commander's Information Protection self-inspection and inspection programs.
