Supervisory Agricultural Market Reporter (Division Director)

The duties may include, but are not limited to: Plans, directs, and coordinates a nationwide program of mandatory reporting for livestock and meat as well as a nationwide program for enforcing compliance with reporting requirements. Makes recommendations to the Program Deputy Administrator in the formulation of long-range and current marketing service and standardization programs. Directs the voluntary and mandatory livestock, poultry, grain, meat, wool, and mohair market news service and coordinating operational activity within and between the Washington and field offices. Reviews and evaluates operations to determine their effectiveness or deficiencies and promotes efficient and effective methods of performance to determine desirable changes in programs or their operations.
