About the role
Lead the team in: identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization. Develop procedures and methods to budget for long-range funding and to meet changing program needs. Provide support to managers and program specialists in the budget formulation process. Analyze new, revised, and/or pending legislation to determine budgetary impact on NIGMS mission priorities. Manages the formulation and execution of the NIGMS budget and provides advice to Institute leadership, staff and others. Prepares budget materials to include graphs, charts and various budget tables for presenting NIGMS's proposed and/or appropriated budget.
