SHEET METAL MECHANIC (AIRCRAFT) LEADER

Provides guidance and passes on to others the instructions received from Supervisor and gets work started. Develops and provides specialized hands-on-training for mechanics on specific PAC identified tasks involving the Certification of Personnel (COP) Program so as to ensure each employee is fully qualified to perform assigned tasks. Plans and lays out work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and work orders in manufacturing aircraft sheet metal structures which have combined straight and curved edges, and irregular angles, planes and curves. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
