Supervisory Administrative Officer

Duties include but not limited to the following: Staff resource to the Service Chief, EMS Service Planning, organizing, evaluating, coordinating, and implementing the complex administrative activities Strategic planning and fiscal management Liaison with each Approved Contractor as the Contract Officer Representative (COR) Conduct projects and studies that will impact on the overall functions Extensive knowledge of how to graphically present data in a succinct fashion Acts as approving official and ensures that cardholders comply with Federal and VA Acquisition regulation and policies, as well as local procedures Assists in orienting and advising Environmental Management Service employees on VA regulations, policies, and procedures on administration matters, and serves as a team advocate when current policies impair efficient and effective patient care Assists in orienting and advising Environmental Management Service employees on VA regulations, policies, and procedures on administrat
