PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST

You will serve as the principal advisor and lead strategist for the Chief of Naval Operations’ (CNO) digital communications, exercising wide latitude and independent judgment in the development and execution of strategic messaging. You will formulate and implement the overarching strategic digital communication plan for the CNO, ensuring total alignment with the National Defense Strategy, SECWAR and SECNAV priorities. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating high-level risks, including those posed by misinformation, disinformation, and the accelerating pace of digital discourse in contested environments. You will utilize advanced analytics to inform decision-making and adjust communication strategies in real-time.
