Nursing Assistant (Community Living Center & Hospice)

The Nursing Assistant function as a member of the nursing care team and assist licensed nursing staff in a variety of health care settings such as outpatient, inpatient, home or community living care, acute, sub-acute. Nursing Assistant (CLC) Hospice duties include but is not limited to: Maintaining positive therapeutic relationships by displaying respect for human dignity with patient, families and/or significant others utilizing communication skills. Participate in patient centered conferences/shift reports, and contributing information for the development and review of the nursing care plan. Participates in the implementation of the patient's therapeutic rehabilitative, restorative, and supportive treatment plan of care, to include range of motion exercises, application of anti-embolic stockings.
