Physician - Cardiologist (Medical Specialty Care Oversight Taskforce)

Duties include but are not limited to: Serving as a consultant/resource for cardiology and primary care providers. Growing a clinical practice and developing key relationships with partners to build the region's hub and spoke cardiology program. Diagnosing and managing coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and heart rhythm disorders. Providing outpatient and inpatient (Seattle location only) cardiology consultations, with a focus on telehealth services, and interpreting cardiac studies. Providing supervision, mentorship, and educational support to cardiology advanced practice providers within the network, as well as facilitate coordination of care across facilities. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000)
