About the role
As a Supervisory Equipment Specialist, you will: Assign and review work, evaluate employee performance, and manage all personnel-related actions to build an effective and productive unit. Perform lifecycle cost-benefit analysis on fleet assets to develop strategic recommendations for equipment replacement, procurement, or leasing that provide the most economic value to the organization. Oversee the development and updating of standard fleet processes and procedures and present recommendations to leadership and customers regarding changes to fleet policies, standards, and systems to improve organizational efficiency and functionality. Provide technical advice on all applicable policies, mandates, and federal and state laws to support a fleet and fuel management program and decision making. Direct the analysis of fleet data to ensure its validity and identify opportunities for maximizing equipment utilization and supportability across internal and external customer groups.
