TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (PERSONAL PROPERTY)

Responsible for the coordination on all aspects of shipping/storage of goods. Provides customer technical support center, fields calls, emails, social media and other correspondence; prioritizes workflow task queues for action. Ensures systems have real-time information for client and multiple transportation activities: Educates on entitlements, procedures, workflow requirements to effect entitlements for movement/storage of domestic/international shipments; Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and Service exception policy as well as billing submission processing requirements to meet automated plus payment protocols. Interprets guidelines and instructions, determines the approach, and adapts the process, to resolve customer concerns. Decodes shipment requests/travel orders to ensure compliance with regulations. Establishes direction, precedent and procedures for conflicting vague, unclear ,or not available guidance to meet unusual/special occurrences/requirements. Explains or clarifies instru
