What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as a Supervisory Environmental Protection Specialist. Typical assignments include: Applying a wide range of environmental and historic preservation knowledge and skills to provide expert advice, guidance, and policy interpretation on a wide variety of issues. Identifying and integrating significant internal and external regulations, policies, procedures, practices and systems that may affect the entire agency in the establishment, coordination, oversight, and execution of FEMA funded activities' compliance with other EHP laws and executive orders, including, but not limited to the Endangered Species Act, National Historic Preservation Act, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and Executive Orders 11898 (Floodplains), 11990 (Wetlands), and 12898 (Environmental Justice), 13690 (Federal Flood Risk Management Standard).
