About the role
Duties include at the GS-14 but not limited to: Planning, coordinating, and managing pandemic investigative initiatives within the Office of Investigations and between other OIG components. Assess the effectiveness of pandemic related programs and participate in strategic decision-making and policy discussions to develop, revise, and strengthen oversight. Promote proactive data analytics designed to identify and highlight fraud trends to detect and deter pandemic related fraud. Investigating suspected violators include highly organized activities interwoven with legitimate business activities and seemingly respectable organizations, such as providers of health care services and equipment, hospitals and nursing homes, and home health agencies in various locations nationwide.
