Operations Support Specialist

As a Operations Support Specialist at the GS-0301-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Monitors USTRANSCOM movement requirements and transportation allocation process Coordinates with USTRANSCOM Combatant Command Branches to understand operational context of forces deploying into theater Provides updates to the Chief of Current Operations and Deployment and Distribution Operation Center regarding forces deploying on all modes of transportation Attends various meetings with the Joint Staff and Combatant Commands regarding strategic and operational planning requirements. Provides updates to the USTRANSCOM Common Operational Picture to provide situational awareness for the Command's senior leaders
