Pest Controller (Motor Vehicle Operator)

Ensure animals are properly loaded and secured to be transported safely. Decontaminate and neutralize restricted-use chemicals following Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines. Recognize conditions conducive to pest infestation and be able to detect concealed infestations. Determine area and scope of infestation, identifies type of pest and environment. Conduct integrated pest management surveys and inspections. Traps and removes feral and other wild animals as recommended or required. Carries chemical solutions and equipment weighing up to 40 lbs. for extended periods. Completes pest control assignments independently, reviews results and decides if other procedures are necessary.
