About the role
As an INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER, you will: Lead and implement the organization's supplier quality program. Serve as a contracting officer's representative (COR). Plan, coordinate, and execute the quality program to ensure quality production of dies, coins, and numismatic products consistent with ISO 9001 standards, customer needs, and US Mint needs utilizing a lean/six sigma approach, and an integrated management approach including communication tools, decision making, team building, and problem solving. Lead continuous improvement efforts mintwide. Develop manufacturing and assembly processes for new products or processes. Assist in developing and reviewing contracts for the purchase of raw material and packaging supplies. Develop sampling plans and conduct receipt inspections to verify delivered items meet contract specifications.
