About the role

The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position is to review policies, methods and procedures of maintenance/supply interface; and brief the Group Commander/Senior ART, branch supervisors, and other personnel on changes/requirements in correlation with base-wide supply meetings. Additionally, provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein. Inspects and evaluates supply management activities, giving guidance, and recommending corrective action. Determines need for individual and group training, and arranges for facilities, training aids, and instructors. Determines and forecasts supply requirements for long and short range maintenance programs. Maintains aggressive supply discipline. Maintains supply records/files/logs and prepares original letters, reports, and messages for supervisory review and signature in support of unit's supply requirements.
