IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

You will serve as Information System Security Manager (ISSM), responsible for the Cybersecurity Program of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Research and Engineering Network (NREN). You will be responsible for all Cyber Security Inspections performed by both NAVSEA and Fleet Cyber Command. You will draft, review or validate information security documentation, (e.g. systems security plans, risk assessments, disaster recovery plans, business continuity plans, user security guides), for system security assessment and authorization. You will evaluate and document information systems’ internal and external controls, identify weaknesses, and develop cost effective recommendations for compliance. You will prepare reports of audit findings and communicate results of audits or special projects to management and higher-level authorities.
