About the role
The primary purpose of this position is: As an Enlisted Air Reserve Technician (ART)), to evaluate and manage the training and education program on behalf of the assigned group (other than intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) or maintenance) and assist unit training managers within supported units, as needed. DUTIES: Plans and organizes the group training program and assists unit training managers to ensure combat readiness. Assists with processing of all career development course (CDC) waivers, reenrollment requests, and two-time CDC failures for the group and support units. Administers Formal School Training and Distance Learning Programs. Responsible for overall management of on-the-job training (OJT) program for the group and oversight of supported unit OJT programs. Manages the seasoning training program (STP).
