About the role
Communicate the organization's strategic plan, mission, values and vision to the team. Ensure compliance with background check and decision service protocols and provide information regarding case status and progress to appropriate Asylum Division, ICE and CBP personnel as well as the public. Train the LAS team in the selection and application of appropriate problem solving methods and techniques, and provide advice on work methods, practices and procedures. Serve as a mentor, facilitator and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among team members. Develop briefings, presentations, reports and other communications for management. Provide administration oversight to a team of subordinates. Lead subordinate team in identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees.
