About the role
Resource Management: Direct an intricate program of resources management activities that involve sensitive and complex issues that may impact a wide variety of park issues. Planning: Analyze evaluate, and lead matters involving land use and recreation planning; lead multidisciplinary teams of professionals for a variety of comprehensive planning projects and studies; oversee/prepare planning documents. Management Team: Represent the Superintendent as needed; develop interdivisional and interagency relations; participates in budget development to accomplish park's mission and yearly work plans; advise, coordinate, contribute to high morale, and provide consistent leadership for the entirety of employees at all four parks. Supervision: Provide administrative and technical supervision/direction of the cultural, natural and planning staff of the parks; recruit, review, develop, evaluate and resolve complaints.
