FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Coordinates and facilitates requirements for maintenance and operation of SOCOM HQ's buildings, grounds, and other sites, with emphasis on infrastructure of HQ USSOCOM's twenty-three buildings totaling 794,165 square feet. Inspects and evaluates structures to manage fire and safety risks, support response to emergencies, and manages other risks associated with physical security and hazardous materials and waste. Quality assurance VSHFLDOLVW for specified facilities sustainment, restoration, modernization (FSRM) projects as assigned supporting SOCOM HQ's. Prepares CADD drawings from architectural and engineering designs to illustrate construction and as-built work on facilities.
