OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is: To function as a senior staff action officer, planner, and subject matter expert (SME) within the USSOCOM Special Operations specializing in the development, planning, synchronization, prioritization, prioritization, and oversight of Unconventional Warfare (UW) and Preparation of the Environment (PE) activities of component Special Operations Forces (SOF) throughout the assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR). In this capacity, incumbent develops, establishes, and reviews UW and PE doctrine, policies and governing directives for all component SOF in order to facilitate employment both regionally and globally.
