About the role
You will assist the Flight Test Instrumentation/Range Safety Branch Heads, in the review and establishment of the overall Fleet Ballistic Missile and Conventional Prompt Strike missile flight test tracking, termination, and data collection systems. You will analyze current and proposed follow-on missile programs to determine the possible impact upon current or planned flight test safety systems, instrumentation and data collection systems employed during flight tests. You will perform analysis of day-to-day program needs and financial oversight to determine data collection and/or administrative support deficiencies, if any, and to initiate corrective action where necessary. You will prepare basic criteria and establish schedules for missile flight test instrumentation and/or range safety systems.
