About the role
You will serve as liaison to designated construction agents and represent SSP at meetings and conferences to direct Command positions. You will monitor the work performed by contractors to ensure quality products and installation and assures that construction conforms to the approved design and SSP facility design criteria. You will investigate, coordinate and resolve construction deficiencies, contract deviations, change requests, technical requests for information, and other technical issues encountered during construction. You will develop, plan, and conduct verification and validation inspection and testing to ensure the construction meets client requirements. You will manage facilities projects as the Contracting Officer's Representative on contracts, as designated by the Contracting Officer. You will conduct technical reviews of design and construction submittals and other technical documents for conformance to requirements and criteria.
