FACILITIES SERVICES SPECIALIST

The Facilities Services Specialist will work closely with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Protective Service to assess the physical security vulnerabilities that will include the following processes: Assist the Facility Services Director in developing an agency Physical Security Plan in conjunction with command's Terrorist Threat Assessment and Terrorist Incident Response Plan. Work with the Federal Protective Service (FPS) assessment observations using the Core Vulnerability Assessment Management Program to maintain oversight of mitigation efforts. The incumbent will act as an activator for the GSA USAccess HSPD-12 PIV system. This work includes verifying with Human Resources when employees' background clearance has been completed as well as maintaining records of badges issued and badges returned upon employee departure.
