About the role
As a SUPERVISORY AUDITOR GS-0511-14 your typical work assignments may include the following under supervision: Ability to lead and conduct complex audits of programs, functions and operations using performance audit, and evaluation techniques, to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Ability to provide technical and administrative leadership of an audit team, including providing recommendations, follow up, and ensuring necessary corrective action has been taken. Ensure work complies with legal and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) Auditing Standards as issued by The Government Accountability Office (GAO), the Government Performance and Results Act, and other regulations, principles, precedents, and policies to analyze and solve complex and sensitive problems and issues.
