About the role
Formulates and implements the comprehensive logistics support plans, policies and logistics operations support, based on logistics data and requirements obtained. Develops, coordinates and implements policies, procedures and requirements for unit deployment, inter-service support agreements as approved. Obtains data from the Unit Status Report and the Material Readiness Report to determine and improve logistics readiness. Develops, staffs and implements logistics plans for material fielding, mission support and mobilization. Serves as the Information Systems/Automation Security Officer, Physical Security Officer and Safety Officer for the directorate, providing technical oversight throughout the shops and activities of the program. Updates Internal Management Control (IMC) Plan projecting 5 years into future for all DCSLOG/G4 branches or activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
