Food Service Worker

Sets up cafeteria lines, steam tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food items including meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, bread, butter and beverages. Under designated supervision, prepares and serves simple foods and beverages. May operate oven, deep-fat fryer or other kitchen equipment in a situation where set procedures or instruction is followed and where cooking skills are not involved. Prepares packaged food for off-premises consumption or serves for on premise consumption. Assembles and bakes a variety of pizzas from prepared ingredients, selecting the correct amount of each ingredient for the pizza ordered, arranging and layering the ingredients as instructed. Assembles and tosses fresh fruit or green salads in quantity using prepared dressings, serves into standard serving sizes. Makes cold sandwiches using prepared ingredients.
