HVAC MECHANIC LEADER

-Serve as the element's Refrigerant and Preventive Maintenance Manager and perform work and lead employees assigned to the 99 CES/CEOIH Element in accomplishing trades and labor work of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration and Control Systems. -Serves as work leader primarily to military HVAC technicians but may be required at times to lead and direct civilian HVAC technicians as well. -Troubleshoots HVAC/R systems with complex problems and extensive repairs requiring judgment to locate malfunctions. -Plans maintenance and repairs to a variety of complex heating boilers and/or heating systems, single and multiple fuel power boilers, and associated auxiliary and pollution control equipment. -Leads maintenance and repair of large commercial and industrial ventilation, refrigeration, air conditioning (AC), and cooling systems with complex problems and extensive repairs.
