About the role
As a Program Analyst, you will: Develop and/or execute departmental or government-wide program management policies, regulations, directives, and programs. Develop, in concert with senior NNSA officials, internal guidance for use by headquarters, site offices, and contractors in preparing program budget materials. Evaluate the reasonableness of assigned NNSA program budget estimates in view of OMB and DOE guidelines, prior-year DOE, OMB, and Congressional actions, and program data. Plan, organize, and lead or personally perform analytical studies involving the substance of key NNSA/DOE programs that are often closely linked to similar programs of other agencies and/or of highly significant interest to top management of NNSA headquarters, field sites, DOW, international allies, and/or national laboratories, and the Congress.
