Provide authoritative instructions on pharmaceuticals, advice and assistance to prescribing and dispensing officials on effectiveness, suitability, hazards, and other aspects of their use. Look for indications of misuse or abuse of pharmaceuticals and recommends corrective action. Provide pharmacy input to quality improvement reviews and similar processes. Conduct training of professional, non-professional, and prescribing staff on developments in drug therapy, rational therapeutics.
