Supervisory Correctional Treatment Specialist (Case Management Coordinator – Complex)

Develops and issues local program policies and procedures as required which includes the formulation of institution supplements to ensure BOP policy is properly implemented at the institutional level in the areas of case/unit/and correctional systems management. Implements Bureau of Prisons (BOP) case/unit/correctional systems management policy at the institution level by signing procedural memos and ensuring training for affected staff. Serves as the liaison between the Case Managers and the Community Corrections Office regarding community resources available for inmates upon release. Serves as the subject matter expert for case management and correctional systems management programs at the institution. Conducts internal audits of the local case management and correctional systems programs in order to monitor, analyze, assess policy compliance and correct program deficiencies identified in these areas.
