About the role
Serves as a Field Project Coordinator at a Field Maintenance Program (FMP) Center. Creates and maintains construction/installation schedules and budgets to ensure completion of projects within schedule and budget. Serves as the principal technical expert to develop new or innovative concepts and approaches to systems, programs, and policies or serves as a senior project manager or team leader for large, challenging work activities. Serves as the focal point for the contracting officer, project engineer and FMP Focals on all technical and contract issues. Manages the logistics portion of construction/installation projects by working with the contracting officer on contractual issues. Coordinates construction/installation activities with project engineers and FMP Focals. Coordinates with the appropriate regional associate program manager on budget issues to solicit for additional funding. Contacts are both external and internal.
