About the role
Leads a team of trades and/or labor workers. Performs work. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment. Installs, modifies, repairs, and maintains a variety of new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems and equipment such as sewer, water, oil, and gas distribution systems, and water closets, tubs, backflow prevention devices/assemblies, fire sprinkler systems, and showers. Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, sewage, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. Uses testing equipment, take water samples, and adjusts small water systems to make water safe for distribution and consumption. Performs all phases of liquid fuels and water systems component maintenance including inspection, tests, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and system modifications.
