Quality Assurance Supervisor

The individual selected for this position will: Plan, direct, review and coordinate the work for the staff performing quality assurance and related duties for preprocessing (mailout) activities; analyze work requirements and determines staff resources, making adjustments as appropriate. Translate quality assurance plans into clerical instructions for statistical assistants and statistical clerks; apply sound judgement in circumventing potential problems utilizing acquired knowledge and experience; resolve occurring problems expeditiously for operational effectiveness taking necessary corrective action according to quality standards. Develop and administer controls, records, and reports necessary to secure efficient processing of major censuses, recurring and non-recurring mailout activities; report progress and resolution of problems to higher levels of management.
