Supply Technician

Support the non-nuclear material and service requirements related to the NAVSEA Puget Sound Naval Shipyard maintenance availabilities both on and off yard. Perform and provide the results of in-depth research and analysis of supply orders’ validity and compliance with regulations. Perform supply transactions such as data entry, report generation and retrieval, and in-depth research. Perform exhaustive research that includes, but is not limited to, identification of alternate available items, vendors, sources of supply, methods of procurement, or causative analysis of major discrepancies. Initiate, prepare, edit, and process numerous standard requisitions to stock or non-standard requisitions through numerous means of procurement to include Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures, and government purchase card. Research local and federal regulations to ensure strict compliance in the procurement of hazardous materials. Contact customers, supply organizations, transportation
