About the role
You will perform sampling of potential health hazardous exposures to chemical, physical and biological stressors in a variety of workplaces. You will review files for previously collected data, plan/manage sample collection in accordance with assigned monitoring programs, and coordinate monitoring efforts with serviced command personnel. You will provide meticulous documentation of time course of events and workplace parameters which characterize the measured exposure. You will measure airflow rates, patterns, and pressure differentials to assist the Industrial Hygienist in evaluating the effectiveness of exposure control measures. You will calibrate industrial hygiene instrumentation including various types and models of sound and analysis equipment, air sampling pumps, and direct reading analytical equipment.
