RECREATION SPECIALIST (Events Planner)

Duties and Responsibilities: Plans, organizes, and implements a comprehensive portfolio of special events, programs, and activities for a diverse community including military members, their families, retirees, and civilians. Develops and executes detailed event plans for recurring and non-recurring activities, including themed events, holiday celebrations, competitions, and community-wide festivals. Coordinates all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection and setup, equipment and supply procurement, catering, entertainment, and transportarion. Develops and manages event budgets, tracks expenditures, collects fees, and ensures the protection of all funds. Prepares financial reports and justifies budget requests. Creates and implements innovative marketing and publicity strategies to promote events and maximize participation.
