Housekeeping Aid - Environmental Service Technician Leader

Major Duties: Obtain necessary information or decisions from supervisors on problems that come up during the work. Check work in progress and when finished ensuring the supervisor's instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines have been met. Relay instructions to team members received from supervisors and getting work started. Observe quality and quantity of work and advising employees of conditions that do not meet performance standards. Demonstrate proper work methods, procedures, use of supplies and equipment. Ensure needed supplies, tools and equipment is available and ready for use. Use hand and powered equipment to perform sweeping, scrubbing, refinishing floors, washing windows and walls, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures. Work along with other employees to set the pace. Maintain a current knowledge of Environmental Management Service procedures, policies, written instructions and other directives.
