Senior Social Worker - CSP/Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers

Total Rewards of an Allied Health Professional The Senior Social Worker will function in support of caregivers, Veterans and family members throughout the Medical Center and in the community and will support the development and implementation of the PCAFC. This includes developing and implementing methods for measuring effectiveness of social work practice and services in the specialty area, utilizing outcome evaluations to improve treatment services and to design system changes. Duties may include but are not limited to: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Caregiver Support Program, ensures compliance and collaboration with local facility and VA Central Office CSP initiatives. Develops and facilitate caregiver support groups and educational programs. Participates in direct caregiver and Veterans contracts to assess caregiver stress/burden and the development/application of directed clinical treatment interventions.
