About the role
Directs the development of instructional programs (i.e., formal training in initial skills, advanced, supplemental, distance learning, and field training courses) for active duty Air Force personnel, ANG, AFRC, other U.S. military service active duty and reserve personnel, DoD civilians, other U.S. government agencies, and foreign military students. Manages total training requirements to maintain operational manning requirements for multiple specialties or assigned career fields. Prepares, documents, and reviews the technical and economic data to support acquisition of complex, multi-functional instructional systems equipment and services. Manages all programming actions associated with the assigned courses. Accomplishes special projects: Develops and implements special projects designed to resolve issues, improve trainings, respond to specific tasking, answer internal and external inquiries, or correct deficiencies
