About the role
As a Supervisory Geographer/Cartographer within the National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC), some of your specific duties will include: Directs, supervises, and motivates a professional workforce of geospatial specialists in the planning, investigation, testing, prototyping, development and implementation of emerging technologies and capabilities for improving the value, quality, and efficiency of National Geospatial Program (NGP) products and services. Provides administrative support to projects and personnel within the Branch: employee counseling, performance management, awards, job related training, planning and coordination, etc. Recommends changes in the structure of the Section for greater efficiency of operation, assigning employees to positions within the Branch, and shifting personnel in response to changing workload and priorities.
