Nurse

The primary responsibilities of this Registered Nurse may vary by assignment. Those duties may include but not limited to: Deliver professional practice using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation) with general supervision. Responsible and accountable for individual nursing practice and determines the appropriate delegation of tasks ensuring assigned delegated tasks are completed by team members. Provide Veteran/patient driven care by optimizing the patient experience, satisfaction, and/or safety for assigned patients. Communicate and collaborate as an effective member of the interprofessional team, demonstrating progression from team member to team leader. Establish a therapeutic relationship, allowing the patient to achieve optimal function through assessment and treatment of their health enhancing the patient experience, satisfaction, and/or safety.
