Supply Management Specialist

Serves as a senior Supply Management Specialist/Production Manager under the direction of the Deputy Commander at the DLA Distribution site. Acts as advisor to the Deputy Commander regarding functional responsibilities and works closely with other branch managers and chiefs in maintaining policy and decision making. Responsible for analyzing programs and associated processes within the Distribution Center and evaluation of them for efficiency and effectiveness in achieving DoD, DLA and Distribution goals and new initiatives. Designs strategic planning activities to assist in achieving Distribution and the Distribution Center's goals and objectives. Manages an organization which assesses current business processes within the Distribution Center to determine if associated DLA Strategic Plan and Distribution Business Plan objectives are being met.
