About the role

Using concepts and principles of professional engineering and architecture, is responsible for review of all designs, drawings, procurement packages, estimates, specifications, and engineering feasibility assessments for projects. Supervises the review of all projects to be constructed within the confines of a military installation. Coordinates and monitors project management, design, and other work of the branch. Acts as authorized representative of the Contracting Officer, for Architect-Engineer (A-E) Services contracts for several types of engineering services, such as reports, studies, designs (Title I Services) and contract inspection (Title II Services). Supervises the activities of employees in professional and non-professional series assigned to the Facilities Branch.
