Function as the Medical Group Beneficiary Counseling and Assistance Coordinator for the Medical Treatment Facility by counseling beneficiaries on TRICARE eligibility and benefits, and coordinating with points of contact to meet beneficiary needs. Oversee the Patient Advocacy/Customer Relations Program for the Medical Treatment Facility by resolving patient concerns, handling program operations, and training clinic staff on customer service. Manage the administration, implementation, and surveillance of the Department of Defense medical service contract as the Contracting Officer’s Contract Liaison for the Medical Treatment Facility. Resolve complex healthcare benefit problems as the Debt Collection Assistance Officer by understanding TRICARE programs and policies, regional contracts, and special benefits/demonstration programs.
