About the role
As a Supervisory Personnel Security Specialist (Section Chief), GS-14 you will perform the following duties: Serve as the authoritative source and subject matter expert on personnel security vetting assigned area, advising agency officials and staff. Issue guidance and ensure compliance with personnel security vetting policies and regulations. Advises on developments and advancements in personnel security vetting programs, such as suitability/fitness, national security eligibility, or continuous evaluation. Plan, direct, and oversee all personnel security vetting resources and programs under the section's purview. Coordinate with internal and external partners to support personnel security vetting investigations and determinations.
