Laundry Worker

Operates flatwork spreader/feeder, ironer, folder, etc. Operates a lift station and rail sling system. Performs routine care and maintenance on laundry equipment. Cleans and sanitize work area. Inspects linens for damage, stained items, etc. Keeps equipment, cords, hoses, etc., clean and properly stored when not in use. Assists with cleaning the plant at the end of the shift. Utilizes proper cleaning solutions and/or chemicals to successfully remove stains from avariety of textiles. Cleans soiled linen from ward areas or clinics using the proper collection methods forhandling possibly contaminated items.
