About the role
Work under the supervision of a social worker Family Advocacy Program (FAP) supervisor who sets the overall objectives, resources, and decisions available. Collaborate with a licensed clinical social worker in recommending treatment plans and provides case management services to include ensuring that an approved treatment plan approved is carried out by the client. Interview clients to provide information about the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) and the incident determination process. Coordinate services with the installation Victim Advocate for resources, emergency shelter information, protective orders, and other supportive services in spouse/intimate partner cases. Report individual's treatment compliance and progress when case reviews are scheduled and maintain appropriate case records according to standards of professional practice.
