About the role
You will apply a wide variety of HR laws, regulations, policies, and concepts including recruitment, staffing, classification, and position management principles. You will develop and implement recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill positions. You will advise managers on staffing options, hiring flexibilities, pay setting, promotions, and other compensation-related matters. You will introduce and/or implement innovative approaches to resolve unusual or difficult issues significantly impacting important policies or programs. You will prepare and present briefings to provide status updates, identify potential problem areas, and to present findings, recommendations, and results of studies, analyses, and special projects. You will prepare and present briefings on study findings, recommendations, and project status, negotiate management acceptance of proposals, and serve as a resident expert and consultant on recruitment and placement programs.
